It truly is puzzling, this holiday. I can safely say I have never before received so many complimentary scarves during one portion of the year. While I agree that, yes, it does, indeed, get cold here in the winter, there is far more to life than a scarf. I suppose my services are only worth warmth of the neck. Perhaps I ought to push myself harder next year, work towards earning at least the fingertips. A start, if anything at all.
Though, I hope my meaning hasn't been crossed, as I do appreciate the gesture. I do have such devoted clientèle. To receive anything at all is rather a joy. Especially during, and around, this time. That, and it certainly saves me a trip to the shops. I'm absolutely rubbish at deciding which clothes coordinate with anything whatsoever.
